I have been claiming back PPIfrom a Car agreement that my Husband had a few years back. Basically it was definitely mis-sold to us, as firstly the guy told us that it would help our credit if we took it out, and towards the end of the conversation he basically told us there would be a very slim to no chance of us getting the credit without it because it was my Husband's first foray into credit applications etc.
Anyways, I wrote to the finance company about it, but now I'm wondering - should I have written to them? It is them that we paid the PPI to, but it was a car salesman at a big car selling firm that sold it to us..
..So, have I done the right thing in starting a claim against the actual finance company? Or should I have been writing to the place we bought the car from?
Can anyone help?
