I'm wondering if there's anyone out there who has got further in their claim than me?
I started a claim against Capital One, months and months ago. I have followed the guidelines, and Capital One gave me a final letter to say they would not be refunding me at all, and offered for me to contact the Financial Ombudsman
.
I have submitted my claim with the FO ages ago - as they are snowed under at the moment, I have already had two of their letters (roughly two months apart each) to say they are very sorry in the delay in passing my case to the adjudicators etc.
My question is - because I can't find the answer to this anywhere - is it worth me contacting Capital One again and telling them that I am in contact with the Financial Ombudsman? Like sending a letter to let them know that the case has been passed to them?
Any help would be great.
Frankie.
