Had a loan with M&S Money in June 2000 for 5 years with PPI added – three months into the loan I went self employed as mentioned when I took the loan out and when I went wrong a couple of years later told I couldn’t claim due to no being covered.
Started a PPI reclaim back in the summer of this year – M&S rejected my claim so went to the Financial Ombudsman. The FO has said it can’t help me because
M&S Financial Services sold this product as an unauthorised intermediary as it was not a member of the Banking Ombudsman or a member of the GISC. Furthermore M&S Money were not authorised by the FSA until December 2001
So where do I go next???

Court is an option, but keep plugging at them

Did you send them a SAR to obtain information relating to telephone recordings, this is how I caught them out and then they paid up
