Hi i am new to this forum and from the sounds of things sailbury village is on here alot, just needing some advice i have been clamped yesterday along with 150 other residents,
i have been away from the flat for 2 weeks on holiday and in them 2 weeks new parking permits have been issued, i parked up and went to work.
i came home to find i had been clamped, do i have a case as my old parking permit was displayed and states 2007/2008 so therefore isnt expired. so why would i know that there was a new one??
i will pay by credit card but has anyone ever managed to claim back the money under the duress thing??
Don't pay anything yet. Do research first eg. Who issues the permits - council or private. I would think you would have to have a letter informing you of the change and when it was taking place. Talk to the neighbours too - maybe they got letters.
