Claim all of your late payment or default charges as you would with bank charges. If the credit card company cannot provide you with a true signed copy of your Credit Agreement then the debt may be deemed unenforceable.

A moderator will move this thread to the appropriate forum where you will get more help.

First thing to do is get your statements and see whats what.
If you havnt got these already SARicon.

In the case of Eggicon do the same-start a thread for that in other institutions.

If there are penalties then you can put the account into dispute.
Even though you have made repayments, you can argue that you were happy to continue with this but were unaware at that time that they had applied these charges unlawfully.
Keep your progress updated and feel free to ask further.
I have changed your thread title so you are ready to start with BC

Hi Emlv and welcome to the BC forum.

Getting charges back from BC has been easy of late if you're just claiming the charges. If you are claiming Contractual interesticon on top, you'll have a long fight on your hands.

Read the Reclaiming Charges guide in Link No1 in my signatureicon below, then come back if you have any queries.

    Hi Emlv,

If you've read the guide, you should now be an expert on reclaiming.

If you don't have all state's for the last 6 yearsicon, send off for them with an SARicon and £10 fee.

If you do have the state's, fill in the Site spreadsheet to create your SOC (Schedule of Charges) - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...eadsheets.html

Hide the int't column at this stage.

Send to BC with this letter - http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk...RD-letter.html

    Hi Elmv,

Blimey! This is a consumer forum, not a chatroom.

You have to wait (more than 6 minutes) for peeps to post a reply. We can't be hovering on your thread all day waiting for you to drop in. LOL

Less of the bumps, and I'll post back in a few mins.

    No probs !

Do you have all your statements so you can enter the charges onto the spreadsheet. If not send off the SARicon.

As regards threatening the present arrangement, your balance is INCREASING each month anyway, so I don't see that you have much to lose.

Have you any idea how much you've been charges in Penalties over the last 6 yearsicon.
