Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have just received one of the above. I would like to know if there is ANYTHING i can do to reduce the amount they take. Looking at the figures and tables it will cause considerable hardship to me!!!
What can I do, if anything, albeit get myself sacked... (Joke!)
The employer is required by law to take the amounts set out in the booklet they are supplied with - these rates cannot be varied by the employer or the council.
how did you finally get on? did you manage to vary the payments or not, and how long did it take for the payments to be taken from your wages if that is infact the way this ended?
many thanks i have my own thread just wanted to know more about it
