Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Exactly the same as you do an open account - they closed my account on me in 2005, started my claim in 2007, I had my case stayed last year and have just recently applied for them to reconsider on the grounds of hardship. They wrote back saying they acknowledge I do qualify for hardship rules but they still don't intend on paying out until the test case conclusion.
Good luck I hope you get further than me!
