I then noticed that you also have a section for PPI, which I think I was missold on my credit card, bearing in mind I was not working when I was first had my CC six years ago and still not working now all the time due to ill health.
Hopefully I can find the help I need to get some of the money back I have paid.

Welcome Skyewatcher to the ppi forum and all the way from the beautiful Isle of Skye
There is lots of useful information and quite a few experience caggers who have successfully reclaimed back their mis-sold ppi.
There are a few steps to follow.
Read around the threads and gain information and knowledge. There are what we call stickies at the top section of the forum, loads and loads of information.
If you read other threads on the forum, you will see where others are at and of course to spur us on we have a success sticky
Send the company a SAR under the data protection act which costs £10.
You should receive all information including the ppi payments you have made to them.
Work out your figures
Send them a preliminary letter asking for it back, if no response or a disappointing one with 14 days
Send them a letter for action giving them another 14days to reflect, if no joy, Approach the fos with a complaint for them to investigate, or issue a claim via the small claims court.
Be mindful that the events that are about to unfold, will be like a bit of a roller coaster. Rather breathtaking, little scary at times, but when you have successful finished it, it will want to make you do it again

You will need to send them a S.A.R which you will find in the stickys under Full S.A.R lol
Then as soon as you receive any correspondence from them come back and we will help you from there.
