Hi All
I am very new to this site infact only used it twice before so apologies
if not expressing myself in the right way or if I am in the wrong thread.
Here goes I am under alot of pressure myself but at moment staying afloat but have a question for a family member who has made themselves bankrupt a few weeks ago re credit card debt.
The question is they have had a couple of creditors telephone chasing
Sept payments all the previous payments were up to date anyhow
I thought that once she gave the bankruptcy details they would stop calling her however one company seems to be ignoring this as still calling is that correct this seems pointless to do .What are they trying to
achieve will they stop ? This is distressing her alot and I thought
I would see see if any of you good people have experienced similar .
I was surprised as it is a reputable company it is BARCLAYCARD.
Thanks all
Deanee
.
1. Log absolutely all calls. Get the name of the person calling and the name of the company and note the date and time.
2. Repeat the details of the bankruptcy.
3. Report all calls to the official receiver.
