Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Sent the preliminary letter to the RBS requesting over £700 back last week. Received a response and in typical form they defended their charges but offered me a goodwill payment of £281 anyway.
Obviously this is unsatisfactory to say the least.
The lba seems to include a lot of the same points as the preliminary letter. Does this matter or is there another one i should be looking at?
