Default PPI on MBNA CC advice - box not ticked

I have an account with MBNAicon from 2000. I have requested a CCA from them and recieved back my original application form(?). On the form i have clearly not ticked either the Yes or No box for PPIicon, the end of the PPI paragraph about this is worded " We strongly recomend that you take out this cover, for cover just tick the Yes box".
Do I have a claim for the PPI I have paid, and would this be from 2000 when i took out the card or just the last 6 yearsicon. I think my next step if i do, is to request all statements etc and set to working out how much they owe me.

You most certainly do! You have specifically not chosen to add PPIicon to the account and they have added it anyway. Shoddy business practice to say the least.

Your next step is to work out how much the payments are and the interesticon attached then make a preliminary request for payment.

If you need help with this, just shout.
