Have sent standard letter from library in the last two weeks, have had a letter saying they will not consider paying back the charges as they are correct and line with account T & C's.
Is this their standard patter and if so, what is the next angle of attack, because they are definitely not getting away with this fob off.

Take a good read round, you can pick up an awful lot from the threads - being forewarned is being forearmed, as they say!
A&L will throw all sorts at you to try to confuse and scare you.

Also, make sure you are well read on the FAQ, they give you a step by step guide to the whole process.
Finally, it is highly recommended you get a parachute account opened ASAP, as now you have asked them for your money back, they will more likely than not close your account.
