Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights

try this link 1st. They'll show all the good deals available on your phone line / in your area. Any other questions, or want a review on any of the suppliers post them and soemone will get back to you.
Out of interest who you with now and why you wanna leave them?
AOL (Talk Talk for the UK AOL) are OK until you have a problem, then you have to learn Indian and phone up 30 times before you tell them to stuff it and change supplier!
My Sky package is great, but then again, I haven't had any problems. I did phone up being a thicko once, the person I spoke to was great, then they passed me on to someone else (they waited until the other dept. picked up, explained the problem to them and I didn't have to go through anything all over again) and it was sorted there and then.
Most of them are one and the same. For example: TalkTalk & AOL are both Craphone Warehouse - steer clear. Nildram, Pipex, Tiscali and a few others are all Tiscali. BT owns quite a few brands as well. These are quite often owned by subsidiary companies so just by seeing the company's legal name you can't always find out. If you want details on a company's ownership structure, post the company's legal name here and I'll get it for you.
Generally any company I've recommended has then gone to mess me and the person I've recommended them to over! So I am loathe to recommend any company.
I have sued over 15 telecoms companies just for myself so my luck with them is not running too well and I can't exactly recommend any one of them!
Generally the rule is that they are all just as bad. When something goes wrong you will have hell though you may praise them till then. That's what happened with me & BE [part of o2 now]. I had them for over a year with no problems and praised them non-stop but suddenly had more hell than you could imagine in the space of less than a month!
I would recommend, even though it's more expensive to mix and match, rather than taking a package, because then if something goes wrong with one the other isn't necessarily messed up as well.
For my landline I'm currently with The Phone Co-op and had no troubles on my personal line but for the past 5 months - since I signed up - on my business lines I've had no end of billing troubles from them.
For my mobile I'm currently with T-Mobile Business and they have sorted out all my problems very quickly but I spend almost £300 a month on them, so that's to be expected!
I'm currently on Nildram for broadband which I don't like and have sued them over connecting me a day late already, but I can't be bothered switching at the moment because seriously I'm considering emigrating in February when they'll lose my business anyway. If that doesn't materialize - and I should know by December - then I'll probably switch.
