Hi, this is just to introduce myself and outline my story. I recently changed banks from First Direct to AL. Unfortunately, my wages went into my old bank after I had moved all my DDs and Standing Orders. This meant I went over my overdraught limit with AL. Despite phoning AL to explain, they bounced my DDs and SOs and charged me 34 quid a time for the privilage. The total came to over £300 in charges, which is why I'm here.... I've sent my first letter off and got a reply saying the OFT ruling is only against credit cards, so I'm about to send my final warning letter. Wish me luck...
Hi there. It's probably a good idea to run your own thread in the A&L forum to benefit from all of the experience there. Good luck!
