Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
HSBC have agreed to refund payments already made by me but only as a discount off a loan to cover outstanding original loan (adjusted without PPI). Is this right or should they refund the money directly into my account and re-adjust my monthly payments accordingly.
Hi tell them that they must put you in the position you would have been in if you did not take out the PPI.
So they must send you a cheque for the agreed amount.
You will probably have to sign a new credit agreement without the PPI added on. But make sure that the APR rate is the same as the previous one or lower of course
