Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi Just wanted to say hello. My brother gave me the link to this website as his girlfriend is currently in the process of reclaiming her bank charges. She has just had a preliminary offer from the bank which she is refusing.
I am so bad with money myself I probably have paid enough bank charges over the last 6 years to pay a big chunk of my morgage off! :o
Dealing with banks has always been a negative experience for me so I am somewhat apprehensive at this stage but willing to bite the bullet!
Anyway I will keep you all posted on how I get on.
Try not to fee too nervous, you will get your money back!
First take a look in the FAQ, and have a good read around before you embark on you journey.
If you look in the library there you will find all the letters you need and a spreadsheet to calculate your charges.
Open up a new thread in the area that deals with your bank, and go from there.
All the best with your claim, keep us posted!
