Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have a query, I recently won charges back on one of my accounts, however the court have asked me to put the PPI charges through seperately.
Littlewoods have said that my PPI agreement is older than 6 years, and therefore I am not allowed to claim. However, I apparently upgraded this a few years ago over the phone. ( not to my knowledge!!)
I have explained that as I was self employed at the time, I should not have had to pay for PPI anyway - but I was told the usual, you have to it's part of buying items on credit?
Ive noticed that when even clicking on box for no insurance on an electrical item with Littlewoods, they always ring me up and say what a good idea it would be to take it out. Although theyve never told me I have to take it on they can be a little pushy.
