Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
We live in North Wales and last week my wife went down to Stratford on Avon for a break with her Mum and Dad.Her Dad is disabled and has the Blue cards for parking which are valid and also NOT faded. They parked on double yellow lines in Mansell Street and displayed the 2 blue disabled cards clearly and adjusted the clock one. However when they returned to the car they had recieved a parking ticket saying," Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours ".
They are very confused by this and I dont know the street as I have never been to Stratford on Avon in my life so dont really have any answers for her. They was under the impression they could park on any yellow lines,I dont know much about disabled parking, any advice on this please?

Maybe if you asked the Council concerned why the ticket was issued, I'm sure they are in a better position than anyone here to answer? You can park on DYL for 3 hours outside central London, so why the pcn was issued only the Council can tell you.
