Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have a default from Feb '06 with Mint for a credit card which has an unsettled balance of £1800. There were lots of late paymebnt charges put on, so I would like to reclaim those and get the default removed.
What is my best route? I am about to SAR them, but am confused about other steps.
Do I ask for a CCA (has anyone had succcess with them thorugh this method)?
And how do I go about reclaiming the unfair charges and thus getting the default removed (on the basis that the debt was unfair?)
Really looking for starting points here - any help much, much appreciated.
