Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi there everyone, this is just a quick hello to introduce myself.
I've just realised waaaaaaay too late that I'm paying for PPI on my BC. The last statement amount was £24.45 and took me over my credit limit; I only noticed because I knew I hadn't used the card.
I'm self employed, always have been and always steer well clear of these insurances as I know they're no good for my situation.
I took out the card the same time I opened my current account with Barclays (2003) so the sales person MUST have know my circumstances and that the product would be useless for me.
I also have no recollection of agreeing to the policy and can't find any documentation relating to it.
So, here I am, off on a journey to claim for mis-selling of the product and a refund of charges.
I intend to research as much as I can before my initial contact; althought I'll call on Monday and cancell from now.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.
