Just new to the forum and already started my attempt to reclaim charges from Natwest, but I have a few questions...
1. What can be reclaimed from mortgage lenders, credit card issuers etc as I have incurred a number of charges here also. For example late payment fees from credit cards and returned DD payments and in arrears charges from my mortgage lenders. Are these the same?
2. If they are the same then I have a lot of claims to make against alot of banks. Should I lump all the charges from all areas against the one bank, ie Natwest bank fees and MINT credit card fees against RBS to save paperwork or do I need separate claims?

If you have 2 bank a/c with the same bank then fine, but I personally would keep bank a/c and CC a/c claims separate. That said one or two people have done as you suggest. Your choice, I suppose
I've been reviewing my statements and am wondering whether I can reclaim overdraft arrangement fees. I suspect not as this is a mutual agreement for funding and as such I must have accepted the fee. Any views as these run to £200+ on three occasions!!
Also I note that in the past Natwest have refunded some penalty fees. I remember asking them to refund them as I had been a loyal customer etc and they did. Does this set a small precedent on my account to help my claim or is it insignificant?

No, these fees are for a service

Makes no difference at all. Just make sure you don't claim for them again
