Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
This is an interesting case for those of us who have been given estimates and end up paying far more. I am not to familiar with the law but I thought it would be a useful read for CAG members
It may be in the wrong place please feel free to move this thread.
Re: Reynolds –v- Stone Rowe Brewer (estimate of professional fees)
A very interesting read Dev. As estimates are given by professionals who have a good idea of the price of things and the costs involved, it follows that it shouldn't be that far out.
It's funny how estimates are always 'under' and never 'over' so you pay less that expected.
Trading Standards wants your help
