    Default Oz v Barcleycard

    Data Protection Act letter sent June 30th.
    Letter recieved today with statements to May 2004. They claim the others before this are on microfiche.I have had a look through the other threads and this seems a common tactic.Therefore, with thanks to Bookworm, I will estimate the cost for the 4 years previous to this,and let them prove me wrong...............

    Sending follow-up letter tomorrow to Barclaycard. Found a very nice letter ref' the michrofiche issue on another thread. thanks to Moores2525..... Sits back and waits.

    offer of £420 recieved against £412 claim! ( thanks but no thanks)
    Sept 12th.settled in full!!!!
    Barclaycard: Data Protection Act sent June 30th:
    followup letter requesting comp statements sent July 15th:
    Letter with revised claim after Microfiche letter (£1415) sent July 20th
    Letter before action sent 06/08/06
    Claim to County Court ref: Data Protection Act failure sent 20th JUly
    Capital 1: Data Protection Act sent June 30th
    Mint: DPA sent June 30th:
    Claim letter sent 20th July ( £140)
    letter before action sent 06/08/06

    Update: 19th July.
    Recieved a letter today saying "we arnt going to give you the info from the microfiche " so................
    sending revised claim based on a conservative estimate of the charges for the missing 4 years ( £640), plus will be delivering a claim to the county courticon tomorrow regarding the failure to supply Data Protection Act info. Just asking for £100 for damages and distressicon, DONT WANT TO FRIGHTEN THE LITTLE DEARS NOW DO I!!!!!
    Given them 4 days to come up with an answer to the claim ( thats the end of the original 14 days).............feet up waiting for Post Man
