I wrote to Egg last week asking them to refund me around £800 in charges that I have incurred over the last six years. I got what I imagine is a standard reply back saying that the charges are valid, based on pre estimates etc.
Do I go to the Ombudsman now or should I write another letter querying their pre estimates?
Egg have replied a lot quicker than I expected! Basically, they are denying that the £16 charge is unfair but have offered £140 which is the difference between the current £16 and the old £20 charge...
Not good enough though... What should my next step be?
