Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
hi everyone, this is my first time using your forum, so just to say hello to you all, and introduce myself.
i am a kitchen fitter by trade, and decided to leave england a couple of years ago, and move to the green belt area of the dordogne (perigord regional national park) in mid southern France. i live here with my partner, who has bought a 17th century farmhouse. our little haven is sitting in a lovely 7000 sq m of gardens complete with a beautiful spring fed lake. we get our fair share of rain, but its nice to actually experience the four seasons again. our temperature ranges from -15 to +35.. and in july, we had a spell of 38 degrees.
work is a struggle, and i dont earn much money, but the standard of living is much better, and a slower way of life as well. i am 54 years old, and have done a lot with my life, some good and some not so clever ( in hindsight ) so i guess an average type of guy.
so thats about all i can say to you regarding my introduction.
i have a few questions for the forum on a particular bank loan issue i have with Barclays so hopefully i will receive some answers to my questions from some of you.
