Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Got a problem with my dentist!
Have had regular check ups etc. every 6 months for last 20 years or so and had work done as necessary. Xray checks and so on.
Now last year when went to hygenist, she spotted hole at base of tooth, this was about a month after check up, no work required. So was immediately reffered back to dentist who had a look and said oh dear!
Anyway worked on tooth and it fell apart, not in any pain, but said we cant do anything with that it will have to come out.
Hang on a minute I will wait and see what happens. so some months later still got hole but keep it clean and still no pain.
So I go back and ask what can bom done to reconstruct tooth;
Reply under NHS all we can do id take it out , however if you go Private we can reconstruct but it will cost over £600!!! wait a minute what!
First problem why cant they do the work under NHS?
second why did they not spot the problem earlier so it it did not get to this situation.
Any Advice, can I sue them for not spotting the problem and have the work done for nothing or why is not an NHS treatment!

Just found this-cant understand why you didn't have the treatment you needed-are you on any benefits
Maybe the only reason you aren't feeling pain is because the nerve is gone-be careful of abscess forming-would go back and try again-or get temp treated-my view only and sure am no expert.Someone come along and advise i am sure.Cant see suing them will help-but don't know-would just get treated somehow.Good luck tawnyowl
Thanks for that, but was there yesterday to ask what are my options and thats what they told me, extraction on NHS or possible root canal and rebuild @£600 plus! I see from the list that root canal is listed in band 2. I will go back and ask to see practice manager.
