Re: I have 3 credit cards unwritten by barclaycard - can I CCA them all on one letter
Hi, thanks for a speedy reply. I am on a mission tonight whilst I have some peace & quiet. I have got some more questions but will have a read around first.
Actually one question I have which I am confused over is this, ok, I have sent off the DPA request, received back the statements & worked out what I have paid in charges, however, I sort of got side tracked by reading that other people have CCA their companies - so what my question is can I claim charges & say I dont accept responsibility for debt because no CCA is present. Sorry but i am confused , thanks Cinders

You can reduce the amount you owe to any credit card by reclaiming your penalty charges. But you can't get a refund of charges paid to you direct and then say you don't acknowledge the debt.
If you CCA them and find they don't have a valid Credit Agreement, it means they can't enforce the debt in court. So you can repay the debt at a rate which suits you.
You can also demand that they remove from your credit files any adverse comments or default markers.
