    Default Whiskey20b v First Plus

Hello to all, this is the first time I have posted on this site and I hope you can assist in my forthcoming battle with First Plus.
I have kicked Barclaysicon backside last year to the tune of £2600 regarding charges with the assistance of Penalty Charges.com (I hope that wont be held against me) but I cannot locate information regarding PPIicon on their site.
Basically I took out a loan for £46,500 to consolidate other debts in Sept 06 and was practically forced to take on the PPI otherwise no loan.
I am currently in dire straits financially and whilst considering my options was speaking to First Plus who informed me my balance with them was over £57,000. With hindsight I cant see why this was such a shock to me but Im certain I never saw a figure that high at any time.
Could somebody post a link taking me to step by step instructions on how to destroy First Plus.
I still cannot look at Carol Vorderman in the same way.
    Thanks in anticipation.
PS. Has anybody heard of Cartel Group Holdings regarding Credit Card reviews?

Hi. In the first instance, I'd recommend taking a few hours over the next day or two to read through some of the 'stickies' - that's the unmoveable threads at the top of the first PPIicon page - to get an idea of where things are at.

Having done so, you will, undoubtedly, still have a few unresolved questions. At that point, you might like to try using the site's search facility, which you you'll find at the centre-top of this page. Using this, you should be able to find people in a similar position to yourself fairly quickly and, in so doing, might get answers to some of your questions.

When you've done all this, come back on this thread, outlining exactly what your position is and any outstanding questions you might have and, fingers crossed, there will be plenty of people here to offer advice and support.

    Good luck!

Whiskey I think you will be very hard pushed to find anywhere in any paper work or taped telephone callsicon any information that actually told you the full cost of the loan - and more specifically the PPI element. Your original contract will show the total of your loan and then a total for the PPI which will go a long way towards that amount. If you havent already, then ask for a full S.A.R - (Subject access requesticon) which should come back to you with tapes of all conversations, and will give you a better view of your situation.

    best of luck
