    Default Store Card Charges

I am trying to find out what the rules are in relation to arrear fees being charged on arrear fees. Have a situation where I have paid the total amount on statement including the arrear charges and then received another statement with arrear charges which I paid and then binned future letters from the store company, until I received a red envloped letter recently with additional charges. I am therefore trying to find out the rules in term of the charges, so that I could challenge them.

    Hi Pck1,
Welcome, can I suggest that you read around the forum to gain knowledge about penalty charges.
From what you describe the store card issuer has levied charges which are penalties, therefore you should simply check your statements and claim them back.
Alternatively if you don't have all of your statements then you can send an S.A.R - (Subject access requesticon), this is a link to the template,

When you receive the information work out how much was charged and reclaim it.
