Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Received email from these people showed one of my email address and there was a link to confirm password. It requested I did not click it as spam as it would inflict on memberships??????? and of course I did click it as spam. It said it was a monthly test and i was to ignore it but it sounded dodgy.
Has anyone else come across this, it targeted a yahoo email so has anyone else with yahoo had the same?
Mailman is just a piece of software for managing mailing lists. I'm sure some spammer do use it, but mostly it's used by genuine mailing lists (in my experience)
Thanks for the reply.
It just looked so in 'computer language' and I havnt had one before. It made no mention of who they were acting on behalf and so alarmed me. I suppose if who the represent are genuine it'll just appear in my spam box and I should be able to realise who they are. Thanks.
You did the right thing. You should always spam thing that you do not know or are not sure of unless from people you know. Even if it is from someone you know but are not sure of the email, email your friend/family direct and ask them if they sent it to you before clicking on it.

Thanks for the advice. Funny enough the other day I heard about avg on the local radio and have downloaded it. Only thing is it is saying some software needs removing, as in out of date norton and something else and once Ive worked out how wo do it, norton is sticky at staying on, then Ill get it sorted. Surfing the internet I am fine but anything software and Im a dud.
arrr good old norton
if you still have the norton disk put it in when it loads it will give you the option to remove
if you do not have the disk right click on the norton desk top icon go down to properties left then a box will appear click on find find target in there will be the uninstall icon double click that sod and get rid of norton
