Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi again,
I've started a new thread, just to ask about how to get a copy or see a copy of a TRO, rather than posting in my current thread. I'm assuming that a Traffic Regulation Order is the specific "law" on which pcns are issued when a vehicle etc is supposedly in breach of or contravening.
Apologies if this has been covered before, but I have searched the forum and have not been able to find it. I'm sure this question will come up again, so hopefully answers will be useful to other people also.
So, could anyone please tell me how you get to see a copy or receive a copy of a TRO?
Do you ring the council, or go to their offices, or email them?
Do you need to make an appointment to view it, or should they post it to you or email it to you?
Do you need to explain why you wish to see it?
What does a TRO actually look like?
All I've been able to glean from the forums is that it should have a map, the name of the council and it should be sealed. I'm not sure in which way it should be sealed. I have no idea how many pages it should be either.
If someone could answer the above questions I would be very grateful.
thanks
