Hi I hope somebody can help me. I bougt the car from Carcraft with Barclay finance and on the day of purchuase car broke down on the way home. Next day carcraft collected the car and after 2 weeks I have to travel to Darlaston to collect the car. On the way home car broked down again . Carcraft was passing me from garage to garage and in the end car was taken to Ford dealer for more investigation. Car was there for 3 weeks and finally they said nothing wrong with car and ask me to collect the car. 2 days later the same problem occure.Carcraft decide to do independet inspection on the car. After 3 weeks they told me to come collect the car that is nothing wrong with the car I refused to colect the car because I know this car has a big problem which they cant found it. I cancel direct debit because I hardly ever use the car. Now Barclay asking me for payment event I havent got the car. Anybody has any advice what to do. I wish I never bought car from Carcraft.

Is it on HP, car loan, personnel loan with Barclay finance? check the terms.It makes a big difeerence.
Anyway suggest you keep paying them, as this is a seperate agreement.
Suggest you reject the car under SOGA as not fit for purpose etc. You need to put this in writing to the dealer explaining why and giving all the details etc. copy to finance company. giving them 14 days to repond and give you your money back or you will take them to court. Dont let fob you of, stick with it.
I already send them 2 letters explaining them whats going on sent to carcraft and Barclay told them I am gonna take them to court and nothing happened. I stooped paying because I hardly ever use that car .Car is still with Carcraft and I am waiting for final response from Barclay so I can take it to Financial Ombudsman. Its really nightmare I wish I never bought car from Carcraft.
Now you need to send them another letter rejecting the car under SOGA, but this time add the words 'letter before action' and give now only 7 days to respond, as they have ignored the others; then you really must take them to court. Small claims court up to £5K.
