    Default citi card cash advance fees

    Wonder if anyone had these ?
    This morning I recieved my statements from Citi and an Associates card statement from July 2002 shows a cash advance handling charge of 25.00 as being enforced.Anyoneknow if this would be claimable.
    Also as City only took over Associates in April 2003 would they still be liable for earlier charges imposed ?
    It looks as though City were already the owners of Associates and that it was just re-branding.

    any thoughts?

    Sounds like a service fee to me Martin. An extortionate service fee though. I wouldn't really like to say for that one. I believe that the new company would be liable for any claims though, as they would have taken over the contract with you.

Nothing seems to of happened since they came into power as a coalition. PPI insurance has been sorted now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.

    Yes me thinks the same.
    I have sent off my lbaicon today and included it in the schedule I dont mind knocking off 25 quid if they dispute it..........the other 850 is undisputable tho !!
