Angry BMW owner with many faults in HP agreement - Need help!

I purchased a BMW X5 in January. I paid £2k deposit and financed the remaining balance. Since January, the car has had many faults. To date, it has spent approx. 7 weeks in the garage and is currently still in the garage. The car is still under manufacurers warranty as it less than 3 years old.

I won't bore people with 2 much detail but the car has broken down on numerous occasions. The garage are now on their 4 attempt at fixing a reoccuring problem and it is now 4 weeks in a row that it has been in the garage trying to fix the same fault. I would say this was more than a reasonable amount of time to fix a fault.

After going round in circles with the garage I have now got the finance company involved as the agreement is between them and the dealership. What can I expect from the finance company? What route will the go down?

What else can I expect? What should I be prepared for?

Any help would be grately apprecited.

Reject it. Put it writing, with the all the history and dates why you are doing this, and give them 14 days to respond, send copy to the finance company. You probably find the finance company will be on your side as it is mostly their car. They dont want a sick car either and they will put pressure on dealer for you.
Dont accept it back and dont drive it once you have rejected it.

Yes makes sense to do this. Also a letter to the dealer principle telling them you will write to BMW franchising manager if its not resolved.Or better still Ian Robertson head of sales and marketing BMW Uk
