Thread: Can i claim?

Hi! i had an endowment through hambro countrywide which i took out in 1998, in addition to this i was sold a life, out of work package etc by the same person who then requested that my girlfriend go on it too! i think it must have been a red letter day for the salesman as this guy sold me everything and from what i can read and understand i had the top cover too, anyway its a long story but my girlfriend and i split up, i cashed in the endowment, now from reading in your fourums it seems like my policy is like what you guys are claiming for, so i was wondering if you can advise weather i have a claim?

I don't think i have been too clear, i cashed in the endowment policy 6 years ago and was given a lot less than what it was worth, i was very young and to my understanding the life,out of work insurance was part of same firm but sold seperately, all i remember was that i was looking in the shop window at houses, the guy in the shop came out asked me in for a chat, he promised me great things off my endowment, actually ill re phrase that he said it would at least pay off my mortgage, the next thing was he said i needed life cover, which i purchased the top package as it sounded great, so from just looking in a shop window i ended up with a lot of stuff i didn't no anything about, i was asked to read certain parts of the contract, just a couple of paragraphs for the rest of it he said you don't have to worry bout that and just gave me a brief verbal description, that was it 6 to 8 weeks later i had my own house.
I just don't understand these claims that you guys are doing so needed to find of if i have been a victim like you guys on here!
