    Default olives v hbos

    Hi all.

I am posting all over the place at the mo so this may get moved.

My o/h has an unsecured loan with HBOSicon. With this he got a prefence card. He took out credit care on the loan and it seems also the card as well although he thought it was just the loan. So we are going to claim the credit care on the prefence card back. We cant on the loan because we did actually make a claim.

Now this got me thinking. Hubby also had anouther prefence card from a previous loan which also had credit care.

This loan was paid of with a new loan. So basicly we borrowed more money to pay off creditcare as well as money borrowed. So within this new loan was actually 2 creditcare. Ripped Off or what.

My question is that this was a good few 4 years ago and I dont have the deatils of the old loan only that it was with HBOS. Can we still claim and if so how ???

    Thanks

    Olives xx

I would start with this Subject access requesticon from the stickies at top of forum courtesy hellhasnofury....
Full S.A.R - (Subject access request) for ppi

You will need to be specific in all the data you ask for in fine detail and whatever format data comes in....see this massive link for SAR, complaints and the rest.....alanalana PPI claim against RBS (looking for some help) please

The Financial Services Authority ruling on the sale of PPI came into force on 14 January 1995 any loans after this with PPI attached were then subject to the new rulings. However prior to this date there were still regulations in place see this for information....

For claims before 2005 and the FSA ruling from which campaign
Payment protection | Were you mis-sold PPI? | PPI - rules before 2005
Payment protection | Were you mis-sold PPI? | PPI - the rules

You cans still make a valid claim but check up with the fosicon/ICO before submitting.

    Thankyou for that alanalana,

The other thing I was considering was that wrapped up in the second loan was pretty much two PPIs as we refinanced the first with the same comapny. That has to be wrong doesnt it?
