Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hope someone can help?
I have read the sticky on this but I guess I just need reassurance
I received the above ticket stuck to my window on Saturday. It states that £100 is now payable within 28 days or a reduced charge of £50 if paid within 14 days. It then states collection procedures etc etc...
I had a flat tyre that day, parked in their NCP carpark for 10 mins and went to phone my husband -came back to the ticket stuck to my windscreen.
Do I pay it? Or completely ignore it? There was no attendant around when I returned to the car AND when I had to rope in 3 fellow drivers to help change the tyre. No barriers in the car park..no attendant in sight for a good half hour...where did he go?
Anyway. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers.
read the stickies.
ignore NCP. wait until they write to the owner - and they will - get the letter from the owner and post it up here (suitably washed of your personal details)
they have to write to the owner as they don't know who was driving and the last thing you ever do is tell them who was, there is no obligation to at all.
• do not pay
• do not contact them
• ignore any letters you receive, no matter how threatening
• they will go away after 5 or 6 letters
• they won't take you to court
You just have an unenforceable invoice.
Some people say you should use the template letters on this site, others say you should never contact them. Personally I would never ever communicate with them.
Nope nothing. They gave up after a number of phone calls where I refused to confirm my name and address until they told me who they were. They wouldn't tell me who they were unless I confirmed my details because of the data protection act. Finally they said "there is no point carrying on these calls then, is there?". So no.
I got a ticket from Searchlight & Security, then a letter from Parking Collections Services which I notice is a trading name of Debt Recovery Plus Ltd. Jason Brierley appears to be the domain name registrant for Parking Collection Services.... Cristal Business Print is registrant for Debt Recovery Plus Ltd yet they are both registered to: Aamicus Computers, 111-113 Old Street, Ashton Under Lyne, Lancashire, OL6 7RL, United Kingdom.
Just found that Aamicus Computers is run by Tony Aamacus... anyone know the link between Tony Asmacus and Jason Brieley? Same person?... somehting stinks.
And whats the link between Searchlight & Security owned by Roy Stevenson, and the company chasing the so called debt: Parking Collection Services & Debt Recovery Plus Ltd owned by Jason Brierley...
Hi ShadowS. Same comment as on your other thread with the same long post as above. You've got this running twice now, which isn't the best idea.
Where are you going with this information, may I ask?
