Hi to everyone on this site, I am fairly new to all this and have spent the past few weeks reading off of here, well today the first letter went out to the Halifax Data controller for notification of all charges made against me, so fingers crossed this will be the start of good things to come.
Not sure if I have sent it to the correct address, I addressed it to data controller at the registered office address, and made £10 payment to data controller halifax plc but I am sure if i have made an error one of you will put me right.
Anyway glad to be a part of this worthwhile cause.
Hi and welcome Brimden, the address was fine as for the cheque if theres a problem there I am sure they will come back to you, you should have made it payable to Halifax plc.
Perhaps you would like to start your own thread in the Halifax forum so you can keep track of it easier in there, in case you need to ask any questions, I have a couple of claims in there and if you follow procedure you will do just fine
