Thread: email address? and 'goodwill gesture'??

hi everyone

has anyone got an email address i can use to complain to A&L because the messaging system is a waste of time because the people on there have no power and just give 'automated' responses!!!

someone high up in the company would be good.......always better to go straight to the top!!!

also has anyone experinced getting a 'gesture of goodwill' from A&L, by way of a refund of a 'first offence' if you like?

my experience of other banks is if you complain and plead ignorance with your first charges they'll usually waive them (as a gesture of goodwill) this time!!

this doesn't appear to be the case with A&L unless anyone knows different?

my 'claim' is only a relatively small amount of £25 (payment review) and 4 (days) x £5 for being over my OD limit but i still want it back!!

it was a duplicated payment due to there online banking being rubbish compared to other banks!!

any help appreciated, i hope i can get it back without having to enter some long drawn out process for a small amount but so far i've just had their standard reply about the 'test case' and the FSA etc. etc. blah blah blah
