Thread: Lloyds TSB/Credit Card PPI

My complaint has been with the fos for a few weeks now, still waiting to be passed on to a adjudicator as I know can take some time due to the large volume in complaints.

Anyway, this is regarding Payment protection cover on my Credit Card /Mastercard that was settled in 2004.

I believe this was mis sold and assumed it was all part of the product, in other words I thought if cancelled it was all have to be cancelled including the credit card itself, due to my lack of knowledge on this then, also due to many other reasons.

Anyway due to a final response almost 2 months ago its been with the FOS for a few weeks now, so I thought I would let Lloyds know, this was 3 days ago, I emailed Internet banking, within hours had a reply from these to inform me the message has been passed onto Cards in Brighton, for them to investigate and the dept will contact me within 9 days....., now why would they want to contact me and of course 9 days is an odd number ??....

The final response was a FINAL response added with an FOS leaflet as said 2 months ago so what have they got left to investigate ?

I did not email them to expect a reply or for them to contact me,only to make them aware that my complaint has been registered with the FOS, so what are your thoughts folks ?

I have received stacks of emails from LLoyds over the past few months but nothing to mention they would contact in a certain amount of days.

Yes your possibly right.

My hubby sent one the same day as me about the same thing, he had a response but it was slightly different to mine, his reply was like the ones I used to have.
And I agree with your comment here about them.;-)
