Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I took on Barclaycard for charges amounting to £750 on an old visa card that is now closed. They paid back all the charges plus 8% interest (they did not want to pay contractual interest) after lba.
I could only go back 6 years because they had not kept records beyond that as they said.
They paid it back to DCA and effectively reduced my debt by 85%. I CCA'd the DCA and 14 days later I have received nothing from them. I consider this a success.
Thank you for the template letters and the wonderful ideas and if you are in the process of claiming do not lose courage.
