Good Morning,

I have just had a case against Capital One upheld by fos who, I have to say have been fantastic in their updates and general handling.

I have a missold claim against Paragon that FOS cannot handle due to them not being regulated.

I am trying to find a legal firm that would handle the case on my behalf. Does anybody know of anyone please?

I believe the general response you will get on this forum to your question is use the johnny john legal company. No win, no fee just a case of get as much information as you can make sure you have a good case and go for it. If your think of it as your retainer to take on your own case pay yourself a couple of beers in advance and seek as much help as you can on CAG.

I meybe seem a little flippant but you have the power with help here to do it. At least you will not have 25% plus going to a legal team that may have little experience of PPI recalaiming and be of no use to you,

paragon - (i'm guessing its a big claim then)

so why not collect all the info and take it to a solicitor at one of their free hour consultation things then ask them if they're willing to take it on because if it's for more than 5k then they can usually claim back costs from other side and won't charge a percentage.

all a claims co would do is collect the info and present the case to a solicitor (who will give them a referral fee) then the solicitor will take over.

so just do it as i've explained above and cut out the middle man

PS: i've been to court over a PPI claim and lost. IMO it is very difficult to prove mis-selling in court as it's your word against theirs and is never clear cut

The claim is considerably more than £5k so I would rather a solicitor handled this as I am under the impression that legal fees can be claimed back if successful. My question is, does anybody know of any solicitors that either you have used or been told of who could take this case on. I have looked locally and cannot find anyone who could.
