    Default i had my car taken back because of a misap

    1st off hello to all right i am on the high rate motorbility and i had a car on the scheme now 1 day i had a slight accident and could not get around to well i have 2 children married and my wife wanted to go shopping so i let a friend drive the car for a while doing me the few favours till i was ok to drive again but unknown to me he was uninsured now the dla knew of my current address but still they sent it to my mother in laws who i dont get on with by the time i got the information to get the car back from the recovery people dla took the car and confiscated it now i cant have 1 till next year do i stand a chance anyone dave

    Hi there, by replying on a thread it brings it up the list so it gets seen quicker - i.e. "bumping it up the list". Someone who is experienced in your particular area will see your thread and be able to give you some advice.

    Hi
    Sorry to that you have lost the use of your car and i don't know where you stand on getting it back.I am on the mobility scheme and i always have another nominated driver added on the insurance,just in case i need another driver at some time.If you had phoned them up you could have put the driver on your insurance if they have a clean licence.
