Used Egg card to buy item via paypal, not recieved. Can i get a chargeback?
Hi everyone, first time on this forum. Im hoping you can help me.
First i'll elaborate on the subject info.
I paid for a item which i was invoiced for on paypal and never received the goods. As soon as this happened i raised a claim through paypal which i won, the problem is Paypal only managed to reclaim less than 1% of my money as the person i paid had taken the money out.
They say they can do nothing else unless the person i paid for said item puts some money back into his paypal account, which is unlikely as im 100% sure this guy is a fraudster now so will most likely never return to that account.
Now heres my question, the money was taken by paypal from my Egg card after the an initial bank transfer failed. Can i apply for a chargeback? Is there a chance this will work.

Your issue is more to do with Ebay(?) and Paypal generally than Egg Card specifically. It is very doubtful if the small readership of this Egg penalty charges reclaim forum share your experence. Your best forum to post in is probably General Consumer Issues.

Thanks for your response, it wasnt for anything from ebay and having gone to paypal and only getting back £10 i wanted to try going through my credit card company to reclaim the money from this fraudster....
