been almost a year since i started a complaint for the missus against Natwest but after only 2 months with fos, she's been offered full amount of 1500.

claim was rock solid as she wasn't working 16 hrs a week when it was taken out but still took the involvement of FOS to get offer.

was a long process due to their inability to locate anything until you get ICO involved but i'm glad that we put it through fos as it was less stressful and costly than going down the court route. i think we got lucky though as it didn't take as long as some of the others on here.

Interestingly, the FOS didn't actually rule on it, they just informed the bank that they had received a complaint and an offer was made.

this to me says that a decision was made by the bank to make an offer of the full amount if it i went further than their initial complaints procedure. ie, FOS or court.

i'm just waiting on a small Citi claim now that the FOS have had for three months without being allocated to a handler
