Default Abbey drops charges to £15 ????

A work colleague has a letter from Abbeyicon telling them that they have reduced the charges to £15.

That's all the info I have for now and don't know whether it's another Barclaysicon where they make it up elsewhere.

    Anyone else had one?

Or is this a sign of things to come from the test case?

Sounds like the banks are pre-empting what might happen.

Looks like £15 (approx) might be the way forward.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't just another ploy like Barclaysicon new regime.

If somehow there is a mechanism that charges only £15, I wonder if Abbeyicon could explain how they afford to do this. Only a year ago, they said it cost them £30 to administer, so by reducing it to £15 would now cost them £15 every time someone goes overdrawn/exceeds their limit.
