I want to reclaim charges back from studio cards I have admin charges for £20 but can I also claim service charges £2.34? Also will they just all go on a slightly altered lba?.
Service charge is Studio-speak for interest and I don't think that the whole of this can be reclaimed. I am also in the process of claiming back admin charges (on behalf of my daughter-in-law). The admin charges increased the balance of her account meaning she has paid extra interest (& PPI as this is also calculated on the outstanding balance). Am thinking of asking them to refund the charges and recalculate the interest & PPI accordingly. BTW, Studio can seldom (never) supply a signed CCA as apparently they enclose a leaflet with your first invoice and ask you to keep it safe. Don't know if this helps.
In the process of taking them to court for Service charges of £340.00
They have ignored all court timelimits & I have entered judgment against them. I have requested (though Money claim online) they pay immediatly & I will give them 2 weeks & then execute a Warrant.
I have not signed a CCA with them so how can they charge me interest if I haven't entered into credit agreement with them??????
To be honest I don't know how this will pan out so my advice is wait to see how I get on first.
