Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I am at the stage now of taking GE Money to the courts - all letters sent they offered me £24 ( I partially accepted - and told them so) they wrote back and told me tough - but not so directly!
Now - should I claim the rest of the fees plus interest at 29.9% - the account is still open but was frozen for sometime in 2006.
And I am slightly lost for words in the Brief Detail of Claim Section - I am just so nervous to fluff it up, as I have another 3 GE Money store cards to claim against. If I managed to win all of them my balance on them all would be nil - with a little bit left over to donate and maybe for me - to celebrate with!!!
Yes, claim the rest of the fees and interest. If you want the wording, have a look at my Goldfish claim
