I have just started my claim against Nat West for PPIon a loan I took out in October 2005. (I successfully claimed back over £3000 in bank charges last year and have had nothing but hassle with this bank ever since).
I arranged the loan over the phone with my local branch. The guy never mentioned PPI but when I received the paperwork to sign they had added it on to the loan. I rang to query it but was basically told I could not have the loan without it. I needed the loan so signed it.
I recently wrote to them saying I beleive the PPI was missold and requested they cancel it immediately and requested a refund of all PPI I had paid. I only have 4 more payments so it adds up to quite a bit.
They have replied today and asked me to fill in a questionaire before they will look into my complaint fully. Is this just a delaying tactic? has anyone else rec'd one of these questionaires. Do I need to fill it in to proceed with the claim.
Any help would be appreciated.
Jane
