The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Just a little note to say this is a great website, Very informative. I have started the process of reclaiming bank charges from Abbey. Over the past 5 years Abbey have hit me with so many bank charges that it has messed my finances up. I have been put in a lot of debt which i am just starting to recover from. I would advise anyone who has had a similar experience to pursue with a claim. Even though the process may seem long. These banks need to be made accountable for their greedy actions.
Good luck with claiming back these unlawful bank charges. It would be best if you could start a thread in the Abbey National forum where we can keep up to date with how you are getting on and you'll get lots of support and advice should you need it.
Please note that I am not a legal expert and all advice given is without prejudice and is purely my opinion only.
